Midweek, the campground had only a handful of campers. Sites were spaced nicely with some privacy.clean and easily accessible. No highway noise. Great 1 night place... not much to do.

This is the newest and nicest USFS we’ve ever stayed in! The majority of sites are actually level, several are pull thrus so we didn’t have to unhitched our towed Jeep. Outhouses were spotless. And the group sites we unbelielveable - large covered pavilions for dozens of people complete with volleyball court and horse shoes. Water faucets we working during our stay. Way to go to the USFS office in charge of this campground!

Always a great campground, the hosts do a good job there.
There's no water, hasn't been for years. Bring a bunch of your own, enough to put out your fire.

Campground has nice tent/rv pads, picnic tables, fire pits and BBQ grills. The pit toilet facilities were clean and well stocked with toilet paper. Mountain biking/hiking trails right from camp, OHV riding and x-country skiing/snow shoeing would be possible also. Potable water hydrant is now operationally when I was there in May 2024. Only about 10 miles out of Ely, so easy access to groceries etc as need. Enough trees for intervals of shade.

I accidentally booked a site on the RV loop, but thankfully my neighbors stuck to the rules about quiet time/generator usage. All of the sites are great for tent camping with proper pads and good drainage. My site had plenty of shade and I had cell coverage as well. There was a host site, but no one was there. This was a beautiful campground and I plan to come back.
