The signage to the campground is missing - turn left towards the fire station before the visitor center. Campground hosts were very friendly and the campground is scenic. Be aware there is no water hookup and no dump station. Generators are OK but campground is shared with tent sites so be aware of your noise because not all tent campers want to hear a generator even though they're allowed.

We were unable to make our reservation due to weather conditions. It was near Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. I know the campground has very little privacy but it would have served our needs.

Red Rock Canyon is awesome. Great hiking trails and a photographer’s paradise. Give it five stars. As for the campground I was disappointed. They are situated in a natural ravine which hides the site. Good for park but not good for cell reception. There are pit potties in area. Well maintained and not smelly. No running water at all. No dump station. Sites were fairly level and clean with nice sun shades. The natural surroundings with yucca trees was nice. Park staff were pleasant and helpful when needed. Only complaints were no cell coverage, no dump station, and no water. I can handle the dump and water situation but the cell service is necessary for those of us still needing to stay in touch with work or family, especially at night in case of emergency. One small repeater tower won’t cost the government that much. I love all our parks and just wish our leaders gave them a little more funding so they can provide better service.

Very nice campground with outstanding views. Restrooms are vault style but very nicely maintained. Water spigots are scattered throughout making refilling a jug an easy task. I just wish there was a trash dumpster nearby as I hate leaving food trash in my van overnight. I did find one at the campground exit the next morning but that was actually quite a distance from my campsite.
