This is a primitive campground with only pit toilets. Some of the spaces in the center portion have shaded picnic table covers. Unfortunately we didn’t know this ahead of time, and we picked a spot on the upper area that not only didn’t have shade, it also didn’t have a designated parking spot for our van. It was awkward and uncomfortable to camp there. Next time we’ll know better.

Quiet, nice breeze, ground was good for tent stakes. Franco the host was nice. Water good. Bathrooms clean. I stayed in a walk-in site. Price was a bargain.

It felt very safe and user friendly for being off-grid. Conveniences are nearby but the site was quiet and WiFi free

The campground was beautiful and quiet. The restrooms were great!…shower rooms were personal rooms with a lock , lots of space and a great shower.

The campsite was clean when I arrived. I even had some signal with AT&T at times.

Number 91: We pulled into the "hike-in" spots. First thing the instruction board, says you MUST go check in with the camp host. So we drove all the way back over there, only to have her say, "on, no, you're fine. You don't need to check-in". The photo online make the "hike-in" spots appear to be fairly close to the area where you walk to the picnic tables, etc. However, that is deceiving. The actual spot is in a different direction and I would say 1/8th to 1/4 mile away. We booked for just one night and were planning on sleeping in our camper van. It may have worked but the parking is right next to a fly infested vault toilet. The flies were everywhere. This is a very bleak campground. I suppose out in the desert what can you expect....the individual campsites might be okay, they have shade roofs over the tables. I would not recommend planning to sleep in the hike-in parking area in a camper van.
