If you like the sound of constant gunfire going off in the distance, and stunt planes flying around above you, this is the place for you. The campsites were okay. The Sun shelter was a nice touch. You could literally hear your neighbors talking in their normal voice. Not a horrible place to camp, but many others are much better.

I stayed two nights at two different sites with truck and 32' travel trailer RV. First night site 17 worked fine. Second night site 13 worked out even better, a little more space and nicer layout for my situation. The area is beautiful and easy access to west Las Vegas for the afternoon. Did do the 13 mile scenic drive which is very near by and that was very nice.

Some spots are flat with covers, and some are awful, ours was awful spot 38. Also, the online reservation system is clumsy. Would only accept our America the Beautiful pass for one night. Unfortunately, it’s the only option for Red Rock.
