I used this campground as a backup to the Angel Lake campground. It was fine. Easy access and everything I expected.

Great place. Very peaceful. Add s bonus were the cows that’s were out and about through the national forest.

There were a few problems at Angel Creek. Our reservation was not posted at the site so another party had taken our camp site. We were not able to locate the host to resolve the matter. Luckily we were able to find another site, but we were never able to find the host, including the next day.
The cows nearby are fine, but when they come into the campground, including bulls, it's a bit much and takes away from the experience.
We did stay at this site one week before and had no problems. The Ruby Mountains are gorgeous.
thank you,
-Mike

Nice campground spoiled by a serious cow problem.

Our stay at Angel Creek was great. The bathrooms were clean and my husband and I had a great time visiting Angel Lake which is just a short drive away. The only reason I didn’t give this campsite 5 stars was because of the cows. Yes, you heard me right the cows. We stayed on June 14th 2022, and there was a heard of cows that invaded the campsite. Not sure if this is a normal occurrence or not, but they were very loud and annoying. Definitely an odd experience. Otherwise a great place to stay!

The campground is in a beautiful location and there were so many birds in the trees (and turkeys somewhere in the sage calling out for love). We only stayed one night, but were treated to sun, rain, rainbows, wind, hail, thunder, lightning and some snow. I know that they can't guarantee such a fine selection of weather every night, but it was great!

Enjoyed our one night at Angel Creek. The location is very scenic. The campground was secluded and very quiet. The sites were reasonably spaced apart.

This is a great little campground. Clean, spacious sites with some privacy. It is in a grove of trees and many sites offer some shade from the Nevada heat. Great camp host and I would definitely stay here again.
