Our site was a double (only large site available). None of the other sites are very big or level. It was also extremely dry this year so many of the trees were dying and there was no flowing water or springs.
Angel lake is beautiful and a must see but I recommend checking out the campground before deciding on a long term camping spot.

Very nice campground. Sites/roads were paved. Pads were spacious and a decent distance apart. The surrounding area provided very nice views. Good hiking up the road at Angel Lake. If you are towing a trailer, get off at the Wells exit. Other exits send you down dirt roads to get here. My only real complaint about this site is that the fence was broken so we had free range cow visitors. Lot's of poop in the campground!!

A great place to camp to be near Angel Lake. There are plenty of camp sites to accommodate a trailer (Angel Lake camp sites are fairly small....more for tents) The camp site was clean and well maintained. The camp host was nearby and available for any concerns.

This was one of the nicest campground I've visited within the national parks system. A beautiful location, easy access to bathrooms and water, and very quiet. I really enjoyed sleeping among the aspens here in northern NV!

Only 8 miles from highway 80, but it's a whole different world. Try to book as early as possible to get the best sites. I camp here every year on a cross-countr road trip. Easy in, easy out. Rain was BAD with extreme thunder and lightning, but that happens each summer.

The campground is clean and maintained well. The host was friendly. There are cattle in the area, but cows don’t bother me at all. I would stay at this campground again.

I actually didn't end up staying here. Be careful following GPS from the west. It had me take and exit going up a old rough cattle road. It was late and getting dark and we pulled over and dry camped off the cattle road.
