Great location, close to the beach and close to Tahoe’s great downtown area. It’s a family favorite every year on Labor Day weekend!

The walk-in campsite was well set-up, though it was a bit of an uphill trek from the parking area and the showers. Well worth the effort. The restaurant and bar were nearby and very convenient. Overall a really good experience.

Horrible campground. Sites overlapping each other. Bathrooms and shower filthy. Sites are not level and hard to maneuver and no where close to the lake as described . Oh and laundry room was out of order. That should have been disclosed.

103 is next to Highway 50 so it’s loud.

The campground was very nice but the laundry facilities were closed. I made a reservation at the restaurant, on line and when we got there the restaurant was closed!

We loved the privacy of our walk-in campsite #57. No view of the water but plenty of space, nice flat spot for tent, spectacular night sky viewing, and close proximity to walk down to the lake for sunsets at the little on-property beach bar. Flush toilet with normal sink in the walk in area was nice. Main bathrooms were a bit lacking. Not a fan of the metal toilets without seats. Can hear traffic noise but the park itself was quiet. Be prepared for the steep walking path up to the campsites, though it is paved. Busy area with easy 30 min drive up to Incline Village.

Only concern was unauthorized vehicles parked in spaces we know didn’t belong to him. The occupants were in Carson City shopping for the day. After he parked in their spot, then slowly driving a few feet then stopping, waiting, then driving a few more feet then stopping, waiting, continuing until he left then RV park.
When we had a view of the driver he was wearing “meta” glasses. Nevada plates, 90’s sedan, “odd green”, might have been electric, no motor sound. Male, black hair, late twenties, no passenger.

This is a great campground in a wonderful location. We have some comments though:
They give you your site based on the size of your rig. Our space was very small/tight. We could barely fit our trailer and vehicle. The office doesn’t follow regular hours and neither does the restaurant. Service in the restaurant is terrible. They have a great laundry facility, but never open it.

We had reservations at the end of Burningman annual project . The clientele for our first night was very scary. And, the facility was in very poor condition. After the first night, that clientele left it took the park a day to clean the place up.
After that it was a very good experience. Take advantage of the paddle boat tour. Don’t recommend having the lunch as the service was very slow and was very expensive.
