The Beach Camping Area

Every step of this experience was perfect. From booking on the phone with Christine, to email correspondence, to checking in and meeting her. The location for tent set up was perfect with 3 boys under 10. Close to the restroom, office and beach. As soon as we arrived, we set up the tent then headed off to go tubing. Christine recommended the 1 hour float which normally takes 2 hours. However, with 3 boys wanting to play in the water it took us 3.5 hours and by the time we got out they were starving. So perfect timing and perfect recommendation. Restrooms were clean, beaches and water were perfect. I can go on and on. All I can say after this experience, we will be back.

A very great place for family fun! The sites are big enough, clean and easy to access. The campground is very flat, great for bike riding. I enjoyed watching the kids ride by or the practicing ones being followed by a parent. The beach is the draw. Very large and a lot of space. Chairs and lounges are provided if you want one. There is a dog section also. Plenty of space for all. The wifi is excellent! The store carries what you need and more. The front gate has a plate reader for access which is modern technology. Highly recommended!

There was a mess up on my cancellation (hence the minus a star) because I went through the process but it was not canceled keep an eye on that and maybe call to confirm cancellation.

That being said since I thought I was getting charged full price I said well let's go anyway and we packed up quickly and headed up. Via email the folks said they would NOT have charged me the full price and would have just given me the smaller fee to cancel. Great customer service.

The sites are not very private, but the location was great! Lots for little kids to do, and great for Conway and hiking. The river is rocky- bring water shoes. We had a bit of a sewer smell the whole time but not enough that it bothered us.

The bathrooms throughout were air conditions and appeared to be cleaned often. My teens were very impressed by that.

The site itself (84) had enough space for a tent and a small camper and some room for kids to play corn hole.

In the rain it appears the walkways and near some sites get real drowned out. Prepare for that!

We will be back again. Great price, great location easy drive, and kids enjoyed it all. Staff was incredibly friendly

What a great humble and quiet little campground with lots to offer. Super clean and well kept. My kids had a blast in the beach area along the Saco river. Campsites are all real nice, yes some are smaller for big campers but I have zero complaints with my 31 footer. No need for a pool when you have access to tons of beach/water area. nice and shady as well. Riverside site was awesome and had great views. We tried this place because we planed trips Storyland and Santa’s village. Definitely found a new spot and will be returning again thanks!

We had a very pleasant stay at Beach Camping area and will definitely be back again. Very friendly staff, well kept campsites and amenities. It rained during our stay and having a laundry room on site was very helpful to dry out wet clothes. My 4y.o. Loved the playground. We went to storyland while we were there, which was a short drive. Overall it was a very relaxing time and was very quiet during the evenings. I would recommend this campground to anyone looking to stay in the Conway area.
