Forest Glen Campground

We were there for Xmas in July, we had a blast. The manager and his wife are the best. They lent us a golf cart, also gave us a cruise in their boat. Great place and people.

Tucked away in the whispering pines of Lee, NH, Forest Glen isn’t just a campground—it’s a community stitched together by bonfire stories, laughter echoing through the trees, and the kind of neighbors who become lifelong friends (or at least the kind who’ll lend you a propane tank and a kind word).

The amenities? All the comforts of camping without the chaos—clean facilities, well-kept grounds, and that peaceful hum of nature you forgot existed. The owner? A rare gem of a human who’s clearly poured heart, soul, and probably a few miles of duct tape into creating a place that feels less like a business and more like home.

Sure, a developer could’ve snapped this up and squeezed out another sterile row of condos, but instead—Forest Glen stayed Forest Glen. And thank goodness for that. In a world rushing to pave over the wild, this place chose to preserve the magic.

Come for the trees, stay for the people, leave with a full heart (and maybe a few pine needles in your socks).

Friendly owner. Really tries to make it a great experience for the entire family. Good beach with good swimming, friendly campers, well stocked store, and plenty to do. It’s a good place to go for a spring, summer, or fall break. Kick back, start your fire, get to know your fellow campers, and R.E.L.A.X. We don’t do it enough and the owner wants you to have that experience and does a great job giving it to you. And…if you hit it at the right time, awesome fireworks show for the 4th.

The best campground I've ever been to family atmosphere the owner Scott is a great guy and all about customer service beach is amazing lake is so clean.. I'd recommend this campground to anyone that loves camping and friendly then this is Definitely the spot

We rented a campsite for a month this summer. It is a family owned and operated business and very family friendly . Their lake beach access is beautiful and the playground was great for the kids. Campsites are spacious and private and bathrooms are clean. They have fun activities on the weekends and it is sleepy and peaceful during the week. We will definitely return next season
