Crawford Notch Campground

I never like to leave a bad or slightly bad review but I just wanted to give people a heads up before you go and book. We booked a cabin for 1 night to have a night away with our family. The website states there is onsite River tubing and swimming in the Saco. I think this only applies to people who book specifically a “river site”. We walked for over an hour (the campground is very big) looking for access to the river, the only way to get through to it was through someone else’s campsite, over a dry River bed to reach the river. We ended up leaving the campground to go to another spot to swim and fish. It was very disappointing as we booked this cabin because the website specifically states on site activities. The cabins are also not secluded at all, most of them are right off the road. We had very noisy neighbors as well, groups of people with 3/4 tents on one site making lots of noise. The positives were the cabin was very clean, and the area it’s in is beautiful. Lots to do in the surrounding area! Just a heads of up if you are booking specifically for the on site activities, look into a River site or look elsewhere.

My first experience there was a great experience. Initially there was a little hiccup with my site but Chris was great in resolving the issue and gave me a much better site. Customer service goes a long way with me. The portapotty's and the showers where clean, it's a great location in between North Conway and Mt. Washington. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Crawford Notch Campground was perfect. The cabin was absolutely adorable and far more comfortable than tent camping. We loved our spacious site, and the charming front porch with two rocking chairs that made it feel like home. Being steps from the river with stunning mountain views made it even better. Highly recommend this gem!

This was the cleanest campground I've ever been to. All of the sites were secluded enough that my usually reactive dog felt safe & comfortable. The bathroom was spotless as well. I would absolutely stay here again, I'm really impressed! Staff was super friendly & helpful. Beautiful area as well

The campground is not too far from Conway. The campground itself is very clean. The sites are perfect. Roomy and large. The bath house was cl3an and immediate hot water. Im definitely coming back here!!
