Awesome place to stay. Very quiet, lake views from every site. Best of all are: Al and Cyndy the park attendants. They are polite, welcoming and helpful. I wish there was a site we could stay in the whole season.

Our first ever trip to Abiquiu Lake and a pleasant surprise, especially since it's only a short drive from where we live. We found a beautifully kept campsite with lots of trails to hike and the beautiful view of the lake.
The public facilities were the cleanest we've ever seen and the hosts were very knowledgeable and friendly.
We also used the opportunity to visit Ghost Ranch, only a few miles farther north and another place we had never been.
We're looking forward to our next visit.

A favorite spot! Peaceful and breathtaking views. Hosts and rangers are attentive and available. Annual stop for us. Well kept. Bathrooms are cleaned daily. Couldn’t be better.

Hosts and rangers were lovely people and we met a number of also lovely campers and their dogs. Sites were roomy and well-kept; facilities were clean and convenient. The only drawback was the near-relentless wind which made hiking pretty unappealing. We know the location is often windy, but the amount of wind was bizarre and unpleasant, and not typical for early May.

We love to kayak and Abiquiu Lake is perfect! We love how clean the restrooms and sites are. The couple that check you are the best! They are very friendly and helpful. I give this park a 10! We have visited many other camp sites and none can top this place.
