Riana Campground is located on a 150 ft. bluff overlooking the scenic Abiquiu Lake in northern New Mexico, just one hour northwest of charming Santa Fe. The lake sits at an elevation of 6.4 ft on the Rio Chama, a tributary of the legendary Rio Grande.

Our first visit to Riana Campground, we did a RV water/elec site. The campground was clean, the sites were reasonably level, it was quiet, and plenty of help if you needed by the camp attendants or Park Rangers. Views were beautiful and we definitely plan on going back!

Fall camping trip with the family at Riana. We reserved Site 13. This and all sites have a beautiful view of Abiquiu Lake and surrounding mountains, including Cerro Pedernal. The ranger checking our reservation was professional, very polite, and informative. The trash can at the entrance to our site and others was picked up daily. The vault toilet was very clean. We really appreciated the covered picnic table, charcoal grill, and fire grate. Site driveway was asphalt and very level. All in all a very enjoyable trip!

  • Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.

  • During the open season, there is an attendant available at (505) 685-4561
  • Unless otherwise listed, campsites are limited to two camping units (Tent, RV, Trailer, etc.) per site, and 8 people. More than 2 motorized vehicles, or 4 motorcycles, may incur an extra vehicle fee.
