We stayed here for one night while on a 2-week trip through Utah and New Mexico and had a great stay. The camp host was helpful and pleasant. Our campsite (PEDE 003) was not very level and required the use of several of our lego-style leveling blocks to get our 25-foot RV at least close to being level.
The campground offered bathrooms with flush toilets. There is a dump station offering potable water for filling RV tanks.
Cell service was adequate to get some work done and to host some video teleconferences.
The camp host stated that this campground is full throughout the summer months and highly recommended making your summer reservations on RECREATION.GOV well in advance of your planned arrival date.

Love staying there so much that we went a little out of the way to stay there on the way home. Great views from the site.

Stayed in the FHU area and liked the quiet and large, widely spaced sites. FHU sites have covered picnic tables and grill; not sure if other sites in the campground did. Beautiful scenery despite the low level of the lake. Didn't even care that we couldn't go into the water because of the blue-green algae bloom. Did care that the bathrooms need renovating- Small, moldy shower stalls, antiquated fixtures, very tired floors. The village of Abiquiu is close with a great roadside store for gas, supplies and meals. Abiquiu Inn is close as well with upscale cafe, a gift shop, unique art from the area, and the O'Keeffe Welcome Center. Helpful, gracious camp hosts.

We love going to this campground for the views. It is quiet and relaxing. The spaces are spread out. The only disappoint last time was the blue-green algae in the lake. But we solved that problem by driving up the Heron Lake to kayak.

Quite with an awesome view. It had nice hilly trails and short drive into Abiqu and the Georgia O'Keefe Museum.
