Nice setting, but not quite as nice as nearby Rio de las Vacas CG. We have dogs, and one thing that's great about this place is that you can cross the road and go into the group picnic area and let your dogs run around for a bit if no one is there.

I stayed at Clear Creek CG while on the Great Divide. The campground host was lovely and my friends and I enjoyed the clean bathrooms and cold, fresh water

Very nice campsite. The host was gracious and offerred tips on places to go and things to do, including a good Mexican restaurant in towm.
Tent pads were level and cleared. Campsites were far enough appart to have a feel of privacy. Easy to find.
One unexpeted thing was proximity to a place that kept cows. They are very loud and startling when first heard as you set up camp. They do go to bed before you do so no problem there, and they make wonderful alarm clocks in the morning.
It was a great experience- cool at night in contrast to the desert heat was nice.; Lots of tall trees for shade, also.
