Beautiful and spotless. Clean crisp air and sites are large and somewhat spread out. Creek runs through the campground.

This is a wonderful campground for kids. The creek is the perfect play area for little ones. My four and seven year olds loved playing in the creek. It’s very shallow and has wonderful rocks to clamber over. We brought water shoes, buckets, shovels and bug catchers and they had a blast. I put together a fun nature scavenger hunt for them and they loved that. Nice quiet campground. It poured rain for an hour, but that was all just part of the fun.

Great campground. Be aware that you must reserve your spot before coming here though. You cannot pay at the campground and there is no cell service for miles.

The campground is very well maintained. The camp host were quite, but friendly. As I went to find wood from a distance the camp host offered to take my wood the rest of the way on his electric bike. We hiked across the street through a meadow, into the forest and on to some cliffs. It was beautiful up there! I was so happy to see that camp fires were allowed.

5

Beautiful, heavily wooded campground with a peaceful secluded feel. The campground and bathrooms were exceptionally clean, and the hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We stayed in Sites 6 and 7, which worked perfectly for our family group. Clear Creek Campground is an excellent base camp for exploring the area, including hiking the Bisti Badlands and Valley of Dreams, and visiting Chaco Culture National Historical Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
