Nice quiet location, close to the highway. But still a good spot for a relaxing camping trip.

The only reason I couldn't give this a 5 star rating is that the water was not working at our site and there was no camphost or staff to talk to. The campground is beautiful with great walking paths. The restrooms were clean. Not having cell service was a surprise but it made for a better outdoor experience. The dogs loved it too.

Nice campground with paved sites. When you enter the campground you are going the wrong direction for site 1 & 2 pull throughs. We wasn’t aware the loop went all the way around so just backed into site 1. Driving the loop in the car appeared would have been tight turns in our class A. The 50amp continuously blew so we changed to 30amp and just ran one air conditioner. By watching how we used appliances 30 amp was fine. The water hookup had a leak on the campsite side so was wasting water when it was turned on. Site for a camp host but didn’t have one while we was there. Verizon cell service was nonexistent.
A nice quiet campground. Once again sites showing reserved online had no one in them for days.

Site 5 was left dirty from prior reservations. Host left fire pit with mostly burnt wood, area wasn’t cleaned or raked, actually there was NO HOST.

We love it here, been coming for years with no complaints. The area is kept clean as well as the restrooms. How ever, this year when we were there we never saw the hosts or the fire pits were not cleaned. The hosts that were at the campground in previous years always checked on the campers to make sure everyone was at the right sites, kept the sites very clean and were very friendly. The ones this year as mentioned above were never seen at least by us. Other than that we had a wonderful time.

Trails and roads are still clogged with pine needles. We had to rake pine needles and debris from our site and clean ashes from the BBQ and the fire pit. As usual we never saw or spoke to the camp host, and this was our 5th visit. Bathrooms on south end were out of TP 2 days. We've been camping at San Antonio for the past 15 years and 2023 has been the worst. Get a camp host that actually maintains the campground next year.

Would have given a zero but wasn’t an option. We paid for a site with electricity and water. There was no water! Camp host was nowhere to be found. A man at the host site said he was “kind of” the host. We asked about water and he was clueless l. He said he could contact the rangers but never got back to us. He let us get water from a different campsite. He wouldn’t let us move to a different site. He said they were booked however, there were only about 5 campers, all sites said reserved but there were several empty sites available. Maybe they were no shows but we paid full price for a site with water. We reserved 3 nights total. Shame on San Antonio campground! You should treat your guests better than that and don’t charge us if you can’t provide what we paid for in advance!!!
