The spot is perfect for solo camping. Area is very secure and the waterfront is perfect. The site had a swarm of bats over the area between site and water.

Very nice campground. It was clean and well maintained. Spacious sites and level. Close to some nice hikes at the Valles Caldera National Rec site and Jemez Falls. A number of sites were marked reserved but no one was occupied them for the week we stayed here.

This is a beautiful campground. The sites are large, clean and well taken care of. We had one of the 6 RV sites with electricity and water. The whole campground is full of trees, nice paths, and close to the river where you can fish. The only drawback was that we were across from the restroom (site #4) and it was during the rainy monsoon season, and there was an odor from the restroom. Otherwise, this is one of the best places we have visited this year.

It was very nice. I wonder about my charges though as it was posted a different price online then what was posted at the campsite. I have a senior pass and received a discount but what was posted at the campsite I should have been charged less?????

Nice and clean, quiet, close to river/creek and dog must be leashed. i preferred the site that i could drive into. instead of those where you are pretty much parked on the park road.

Despite losing our camp host the 1st night and raining all week we had a great time.

There was no camp host and cars were driving in and out using the facilities, dumping trash, and staying in vacant spots without paying. The restrooms were smelly and disgusting!
