Normally, I would rate 5 stars. But this time 3 stars because employees did not fix the water pump ahead of May 15th opening. They did not care. They said no water!!!
We made a water/elev site reservation 6 months ago. Very disappointed of people in charge!!!!!!!

The campground is excellent. We had a relaxing stay and were glad that Paisley's Country Store is open because we forgot a number of items. The country store has Wifi which is great! There was a very nice rain the first day which reduced any fire danger. We also saw deer right by our campsite! The host is excellent and we had a great time!

Close bathrooms, lots of space with clear level campsite, near a stream, close to Fenton Lake. It was a great time.

We really liked this small and quiet campground. Our site was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The walking trail along the creek, that runs the length of the campground, was very nice to walk and explore on. There is a good number of trees but still some open space for easy parking. The restrooms with vault toilets were clean and well supplied. The camp host was very friendly, helpful, and available.

If you stay in site 009 with a camper, bring what you need to make it level. The site is on a slight hill. Other than that, it's a good site with a wide area between you and the creek. It feels very private towards that direction from the site. We were able to play yard games in that area and hang a hammock among the trees there.

This is our favorite campground. VERY difficult to get one of the 6 electric sites. Camp Host James is outstandingly helpful. Ranger John was also most helpful. We endured the total lack of running water.

Campsite was impeccably clean, quiet, and easy to access. Went there out of necessity (Fenton was full), but San Antonio just may become our new favorite spot. Fellow guests kept to themselves, and noise was kept to a minimum. Will happily camp there again!
