Nice campground. I would give it a higher rating except that the water system in the park was offline, apparently for some time with no hard date for its repair. I was not notified in advance and unfortunately had not filled my water tank before arriving. I managed.

beautiful spot, spacious and spread out nicely. easy access to firewood very locally. Bathrooms were a real mess though.

We love this beautiful campground. However, there were cattle roaming the campground and pooping everywhere.

You listed potable water as available at the San Antonio campground. We took this as the truth and showed up with a dry camper to a dry campground. You had turned the water off TWO DAYS PRIOR to our arrival and didn’t tell anyone. Because of this, my wife, myself and my dog spent an ENTIRE DAY of our vacation driving back to Albuquerque to get water.
I returned home to find an email sent AFTER we departed, but there is NO CELL COVERAGE in or near San Antonio campground, so it had no effect.
If you plan to turn off the water to a campsite that is listed to have potable water, you need to do that WEEKS IN-ADVANCE OF THAT ACTION!
You owe me a day of vacation.

From Jemez Springs, New Mexico, travel 9 miles north on New Mexico State Road 4 and along the Jemez Mountain Trail National Scenic Byway, then take New Mexico State Road 126 for 2 miles to campground.
San Antonio Campground is accessible via New Mexico State Road 4, which is approximately 9 miles south from Jemez Springs. It is also accessible via New Mexico State Road 126, which leads directly to the campground.

- Online reservations are payment for two vehicles MAXIMUM; that includes the tow vehicle or RV and one additional vehicle.
- This includes the use of generators (No generators during quiet hours).
- Before making a reservation for a campsite, check the details for driveway length to see if your vehicle and equipment can fit on the site.
- No dump station available at this campground
- Firewood is not available for sale at the campground - dead and down wood in forest can be picked up for firewood. Please do not cut live standing trees or branches.
- Charcoal only in pedestal cooking grills
- Maximum vehicle length is 40 feet, please check each site for specifics.
