Cochiti Campground offers beautiful views, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Many visitors enjoyed activities like tubing on Cochiti Lake and appreciated the cleanliness of the campground and restrooms. However, some noted issues with water access, maintenance of facilities, and occasional lack of supervision from staff. Overall, most campers had positive experiences and expressed a desire to return.

The Juniper Loop is recipe for disaster. All the rocks and steps mean a broken ankle and head trauma. The Elk and Buffalo loops looked nice but no availability. I had to leave after 1 night and forgo the next 6 nights I had paid for. Juniper is too dangerous!!!!

The Cochiti campground is a great place to camp. I camped with a truck camper and stayed one night in site 55 of Buffalo Grove campground. The campsites are spaced nicely and give nice view of the lake. I have stayed here before and will stay again when I am in the area.

It was great. The amenities were excellent, hot showers, flushable toilets, clean and convenient access to facilities, great fishing and swimming. Easy access to lake. Me and my family had a wonderful time and plan on going back in the near future.

Nice campground but it’s not always guaranteed. You’ll get the space you reserved and pay for.
