The problem that I had was that the ground was too solid to drive tent stakes in. In a campground that gets as windy as this does, it is mandatory that you can drive stakes into the ground.

Love the facilities with on site bathroom and shower. Water recreation is always good!

Cochiti Lake, is a beautiful area, but the weeds are too big and tall. When we have a reservation and I'm trying to secure the 5th wheel tires with tire chucks, and getting to one side of the 5th wheel, I have to shake the ants off and I have to shuffle weeds with a stick to be sure no snakes are hiding in them, which I have seen in the past. It would be greatly appreciated if the weeds could be trimmed around the concrete site to reduce any possible snake bites. Also, at the end of the visit we appreciate there being a dump station, but there are tall/wide bushes near the dump station side, and they have grown (just right) in front of the driver truck door, where I struggle to get out with my cane. I have also witnessed this with other travelers...very frustrating. Last thing is the beautiful wood gazebo, I pray it's worth saving from rotting, it has an incredible art design, and it is so large and gives wonderful shade.

They let me book and the whole lake and hiking was closed. Had to just stay in the RV becuase of an incident at the lake.. they should really shut down reservations when this is the case

COE parks are our favorites, this one is no exception. Located very close to Tent Rocks NM, it has all the amenities except sewer hookups at each site.

Very clean. Love that there were showers and close to lake. Only issue was showers sprayed weird, so made it difficult

Great place to take the family. Clean showers. I was surprised that there was warm water. Clean bathroom.
Most people (other campers) were respectful of others around them.

We had a great weekend at Cochiti! Some friends camped at the site beside us and we enjoyed meals and just hanging out together. The was was warm and refreshing to wade out into.

Not my first visit and won't be my last. Easy to get to between Santa Fe and Albuquerque. It looks like improvements are imminent. Various areas are going to get picnic tables and benches. Juniper loop bathroom and showers are wonderful.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
