Cochiti Campground offers beautiful views, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Many visitors enjoyed activities like tubing on Cochiti Lake and appreciated the cleanliness of the campground and restrooms. However, some noted issues with water access, maintenance of facilities, and occasional lack of supervision from staff. Overall, most campers had positive experiences and expressed a desire to return.

The pull through spaces in Buffalo Grove are nice, but a little narrow and unlevel. Some are better than others. It didn't look like any of the LED lamps in the sites worked, which was ok for stargazing. The bathhouse was fine on the ladies side, but the men's toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The dump station is kind of awkward since there is a fairly tight turn to line up to if (if you are towing a long trailer) and there is a curb along the dump so you have to use levelers to keep the sewer hose from having a low spot that doesn't empty. A curb cut would be an improvement.
It was nice to have shelters and picnic tables and a view of the lake from our campsite.

Looks like it use to be a nice park. In need of some repairs now. On the men’s bathhouse one of two toilets were out of order. One of two showers were out of order. The there shower had a water bottle over the shower head to direct the spray. The dump station was marked off with yellow caution tape. Over it was a nice quiet and friendly place. I am camping so the first is just minor inconvenience. I would stay there again. Such beauty and so peaceful

We were in Juniper loop for 4 nights which has no sewer hookups. 50 amp wasn’t working and it was the 3rd day before an electrician was available to fix it. Site 27 was short for our 35’ motorhome and towed car. Although it was paved, it sloped forward making it difficult to level. Our picnic table was oddly up a hill on the driver side. No overhead shelter like many of the other loops. It was nice to see each site now had water. Love Buffalo Loop, but probably won’t stay on Juniper in the future.

The spaces were far enough apart.
