We love Rancho Gallina!!! If you want a unique and memorable getaway, we highly recommend staying with Leslie and Mitch. The ranch is relaxed and rustic, so you can enjoy the natural beauty of their large property and get the real New Mexico experience. Be sure to take advantage the hot tub (beautiful on a starry night) and the hammocks are ideal if you happen to have a good book and sunny day. As an added bonus, the food they provide is always fresh, inventive and delicious. Be sure to ask about local tips for places to visit while you're in town. We've loved every experience here at Rancho, and will definitely be returning.

We stayed at Rancho Gallina on our visit to Balloon Fiesta. We wanted to get a Santa Fe authentic experience for our weekend getaway. Mitch and Leslie, the owners, were very warm and welcoming. They gave us a tour of the property and provided home-cooked meal for breakfast. The best part was that Rancho Gallina was far away from the city that we are able to see so many stars while sitting on a hammock. We felt so comfortable that we are already planning a trip next year, this time with the whole family. So glad we found this hidden gem!

We've coming to Rancho Gallina as a family for seven years and each year it gets better. Our kids (now 9 and 11) look forward to it every year. The setting is perfect, the accommodations are unique and cozy, and the food is spectacular. Each room on this rustic compound reflects the real Santa Fe style that so many search for and so many imitate. And, yeah, the coffee is realllly good.

The property is sprawling and is perfect for a quiet morning walk or a sunset reflection. The hot tub provides the perfect perch for star gazing. On top of all of this, Rancho Gallina's location is optimal for a quick jaunt into the Santa Fe or to funky Madrid. You're an hour away from most of the region's hikes. You seriously can't go wrong with this place!

Last, but not least, owners Mitch and Leslie care deeply about what they're doing, are attentive to their guests, and are can help you make the most of your visit to Santa Fe.

What a lovely villa, just 20 minutes south of Santa Fe.

The rooms in the Old House are all unique, historic, updated, and comfortable. (The photos really don't do this place justice).

The ranch is an oasis of calm, with numerous hammocks, tables/chairs setup outside, and a hot tob. The owners are phenomenal, so accommodating, interesting, and amazing cooks. The whole experience is--magical.

We were there for a wedding-- renting the whole ranch with friends is an awesome way to ensure quality time with people you like-- but I think we would have enjoyed this even if we only rented 1 room. Can't recommend enough.

I attended a wedding at Rancho Gallina in August, and the hosts made us feel so comfortable and at home in the space. They seemed to be very accomodating about the arrangements and helped us in getting the last minute details together. Also, they were very kind to all guests and those of us staying at the ranch, making us fantastic food and seeing that everything went off without a hitch. It was a truly magical experience.
