Love's RV Hookup-Santa Rosa NM 285

We stopped here for a convenient overnight stay on our way to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta.
Positives:
-super easy access off I-40 and US 84
-Nicely spaced concrete sites.
-Pull through sites are quite long and a good distance from the main drive and truck parking area.
-some sites have picnic tables
-gravel interior roads (but some maintenance work is needed at the end of many sites)
-Nice dog park. Small but it meets the need
Negatives:
-Water pressure. We booked our site several months in advance. We saw comments about water pressure posted just after the location opened but thought that this issue would have been resolved in the months that passed. It's not fixed. 20 psi at best. 1.5 GPM water flow. Guessing this may be a supply issue from the city but it needs to be addressed and quickly or Loves should discount sites at this location until the issue is fixed. Truthfully, Loves should refund $5-$10 to previous guests because of this ongoing issue!! When you pay this much for a full hookup, you expect decent water pressure, not I have to put water onboard and use your pump to take a shower!!
-sites are sloped a bit too much! Know before you go. We got level but the slope may be too extreme for some auto leveling systems. Note there is also some significant erosion from recent storms that created a ditch across the front of the exit road from the pull through sites.

A super-easy, fairly-priced and convenient full-hookup option for overnight stays. Level sites, well lit, with all the services and products that Love’s offer, along with a great fast-food offering! We’ve used them 4 times this summer, and we’re BIG fans!

This location has a very bad problem with the truckers, A total of 3 eighteen-wheelers,and 3 bobtail trucks just come in and park in the RVhookup area that charges 60.00. They pay nothing (they don't get water or power, but the first 2 trucks were very noisy. The clerks were very prompt at having them move but I'm sure they have other responsibilities, so several trucks parked overnight in the hookup area

Perfect for overnight stay. We got the corner spot which gives you a good view.
It was calm, clean and easy to use and to check-in (everything done online).
Water pressure is very low. If you need to use the dump system, you need to purchase the sewer system code at the store for $10 to unlock it.

Clean sites. Extremely low water pressure. Site 10 was missing a part on water spicket so we had to call customer service. Excellent service from Gentlemen came from tire shop to help, unfortunately no part on hand, so they switched us to another site. Carls Jr provided quick delicious food. Dog park is just fenced in dirt and rocks, but at least pups can get off and run. 1st site did not have lock on sewage, 2nd one did so I had to go back inside to get combination. Easy to get into. Definitely a busy spot, later in night was overflowing with rigs, could make it difficult to leave late night/early morning.
