Lakeside Campground - Ripley

Have a camp up there. Wonderful experience. Family owned. All ages welcome

The 2 bedroom house located right on Lake Erie was perfect for gathering of our friends who stayed in the campers. Plenty of wood brought to us was great for nightly campfires.

My parents and daughter were staying here when my daughter had an unexpected minor medical emergency. The owners were absolutely wonderful and drove my parents and daughter to the nearest hospital and back at between 8pm and 11pm at night. That is service that you do not see in the modern world! That is the service that will make me come back with the remainder of my children on a future visit and make sure to recommend Lakeside Campground to anyone I can. Thank You for your outstanding service from the bottom of my heart!

We were on our way up to Erie for some wine tasting and decided to stay a couple of nights. We randomly chose lakeside, and boy! Are we glad we did! This place was PERFECT for what we needed. Bathrooms were right next to us (super clean). Full hook-ups. Fire ring. And it was the perfect location for access to the best wineries!

Johns hospitality was great! He got us right in and helped us get acclimated to the area. Gave us a wine map, and some recommendations for the surrounding wineries.

Just a short walk and your RIGHT on lake Erie watching the sunset. Nice little beach to walk on in the morning, too.
