Glen Hudson Campground

My husband and I have been a seasonal here for about 8 years, Don Sr. Ellis owned the campground.
It became a "Family" place for us. We absolutely love it here, everyone is friendly and its peaceful. Listening to the river, watching kayaking, just enjoying nature. Couldn't ask for a better place.
When Don Jr. took over running the campground, he was like part of the family here. Very thoughtful, and helpful too.
If your looking to relax, enjoying the nature, and the peaceful atmosphere, this is the place!
Hopefully it stays this way for years to come, we NEVER want to leave. Its our Happy Place!

We had a wonderful stay at this campground! The grounds were exceptionally clean, quiet, and well maintained. The highlight was definitely the river access right from our campsite—it made for a relaxing and beautiful experience. Our site was level, making setup quick and easy. Chris was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Have you ever wished that RV, campgrounds nowadays were more like they were 30 - 40 years ago? No fancy poured slabs or heated swimming pools here. Just nice, clean, spacious campsites. My site like most of the transient sites is roughly 120 ft deep & 60ft wide. With fire pit & picnic table. Most sites have 30 or 50 amp hookups & all have sewer connections. On hot days, folks float down the Hudson on inner tunes or
canoes & kayaks. There's a swimming hole off a large grassy lawn at the southern end of the campground. There's a waiting list for the river front sites, and they go to seasonal customers. Firewood for sale on site, and there are a couple of wàshers & dryers available in the rec hall. The best thing about this park is the manager. Don Ellis is an extremely amicable gent. He runs a tight ship & does a great job looking after the bldgs & grounds. His Dad started the park years ago.
