Ash Grove Mountain Cabins & Camping

Ash Grove Mountain Cabins & Camping exceeded our expectations in every way. The campground was incredibly well thought out for guests’ convenience and comfort. The showers were spotless and even stocked with shampoos, which was such a thoughtful touch after long hiking days. We also really appreciated the laundry facilities and dishwashing station. everything was clean, organized, and easy to use.
The views around the campground were absolutely gorgeous, especially overlooking the Pisgah National Forest. It felt peaceful, cozy, and perfectly located for exploring the area. A special thank you to Aster, who was one of the friendliest and most welcoming hosts we’ve met during our trip. You can truly feel the care and attention put into this place. We had an amazing experience and would absolutely stay here again.

Our family had a lovely stay at Ash Grove. It was in a good location far enough away from all the traffic of downtown brevard but still just a short drive into town. It was very close to DuPont State Forest. Mark was very polite, helpful and nearby if you needed anything. The roads are very small for a pull behind camper so I wouldn't recommend anything over 20 ft. The bath house was very clean. We did a camping spot so we can't speak to what the inside of the cabins look like, but the outside of them and lots were well maintained. Overall, this is a great stay! We will definitely be staying again.

Looking for a place where fairies and gnomes play; where delicate waterfalls lull you to the rhythm of magic? This getaway has everything from well appointed cabins to primitive campsites. Fly fishing guides aren’t far away. But I really was enchanted by the spiritual, mystical, and meditative healing qualities of this escape to the mountain forests. The owners are a delightful couple who I’m lucky to now call friends and they live in a house on the property, so the service is literally phenomenal. You will leave a changed person.

10/10 recommend! I have camped in the Stellar Tent Sites at Ash Grove 3 times now, each a wonderful experience. The owners are good people - so hospitable and take such good care of their grounds. The grounds and bathrooms are always very clean, the showers are HOT, and they even have heaters in the bathroom! Every time I have stayed there, the other sites have been very respectful with noise. Upon check-in, they provide you with a helpful pamphlet outlining things to do, local stores ,etc. The wi-fi by the bathrooms is very helpful in planning our trails for the day. Thank you for always providing a wonderful experience and beautiful getaway!

After searching high and low we were out of luck for dispersed camping in the area. About to head back home, I found Ash Grove online and they accommodated us and were so gracious and kind! We had a wonderful stay and are so grateful they made our reservation afternoon of. The bathrooms were clean, which was an added bonus.
We would love to come back and stay again soon!
