Pro tip - Only the back showers actually have hot water, at least at night.
Great campground, very quiet and close to good trout fishing.

We had a great time. Rain and Sun were both expected. Staff was accommodating and helpful.

Carolina Hemlocks is one of our favorite places to go, so the prospects of a family picnic to celebrate my daughter's high school graduation made the Hemlocks our No. 1 choice. We rented the beautiful pavilion in January for the May 28 event. Knowing it was a holiday weekend, we got it as early as possible. As the time grew nearer, Recreation.gov maintained contact, providing me with the necessary information. Everything was clean and perfectly in order when we arrived. We had a wonderful day at the river. Everyone (family and friends from five states) was so impressed with the natural beauty and the exquisite picnic accommodations provided by the pavilion. I just hope we left it as clean and ready-to-use as we found it. Even the weather was cooperative!
