RV Park in a beautiful location just south of Ashville and near Pisgah National Forest. Our site was level and had a view of the lake and club house. I liked sitting on a rocking chair watching the kids fish. The staff was super friendly... Kai in the front office was fun to chat with.

Everything about this campground was AMAZING! We chose it because it was only 10min from my sister's and it quickly became one of our favorite campgrounds. There is a pond that our two sons (9&11) loved paddle boating and fishing in (included with your stay). We later brought our sister and her 3 boys (3, 8, & 10) for an afternoon of fishing and boating (only $3pp/day to enjoy all the amenities). When we realized the pool wasn't open for the season yet, we spent some time in the Rec where there were lots of games including billiards, ping pong, and connect 4. There was also a full kitchen and TV available that we didn't use. The 2 older boys spent at least an hour building sand castles on the playground. The bathrooms were incredibly clean and the showers were spacious, spotless, with ample pressure and hot water. We'd definitely visit this campground again!

We stayed in one of the campground cabins and it was wonderful! It was clean and had everything we needed! Also, this location is adjacent to everything one might need… restaurants, groceries, shopping, etc.. but you would never know because it’s so
Peaceful there!
Very well maintained and well-run campground/resort!
Definitely 5 stars for us!

We had a wonderful time camping at Rutledge Lake RV Park. Whitney and Joe, the managers, were awesome! We loved how centrally located it was to all the surrounding areas. And we were also very happy that the park has a very nice dog area for our pup to “go” off leash. We highly recommend staying here.

So disappointed! We rented cabin 80 and it was a disappointment for sure! The sofa in that cabin definitely needs to be in the dump! There were 4 pillows on the bed. 2 pillows felt like bricks, the other 2 were so soft you had to put 2 together to make 1. Oh and the loft with a mattress, you would have to be a toddler to use that. It was the last of November in the mountains and there was a cold front and there were no blankets in the cabin, because they thought someone could sleep on that sofa (that needs to be in dump), we found a light quilt. Housekeeping didn't do a very good job, checking behind whoever was in there last, because there were bread crumbs in the toaster oven. The coffee cups were not clean, but guess that was a reflection on the previous renters, because you are suppose to wash and put away your dishes before you leave! Would definitely not stay there again!!
