We and family/friends have been camping at Franklin RV for several years. Usually twice a year, Spring/Summer and Fall. The campground is well kept and always so beautifully landscaped. Rick, the manager, is always so accommodating and on top of everything. We always use the awesome fireplace and grill at the pavilion and invite family nearby. We met the owners on our last visit - such a beautiful hands-on family. And the location is perfect for us. Definitely recommend!

We had a great time in the park. Rick was awesome! Place is small but beautiful and well taken care of. Rick does a awesome job at keeping the place looking nice and helping out anytime needed. The only thing I didn't like was that when you reserve you leave a deposit that's non refundable. It was a good amount for a week stay. I book way in advance and things happen. I feel like as long as you give a far enough notice it should be refunded or most of it. Other then that we really liked it.

This campground is a gem! It's small, but beautiful, very well kept and easy to get in and out of the campsites. We live in Franklin and found it by accident when looking for a campground to use during a family gathering. Sure wish I'd found it sooner! We will definitely be back, as it's just a short distance from home, but quiet and perfect for a getaway anytime. Rick, the campground host is very nice and extremely helpful without being intrusive.

Immaculate campground and laid-out well. Sort of hidden away on a dead end road. Nice restrooms, pavilion, landscaping, FHU, with roomy sites. A bit expensive but the clientele appears to be above average compared to less expensive campgrounds. I suppose the cost prohibits a rougher crowd from camping here. Plus they wouldn’t fit in. Not that we do, but peace and quiet is important to us. Only one bar of AT&T 5G but the free and dependable WiFi makes up for it.
The campground sits in less hilly terrain than our previous site, and this end of Franklin has a pretty good produce store six miles south of the campground as well as a fantastic organic food store called Yonder that is about four miles north on the southern edge of Franklin. Plus there is a southern route back into Highlands which goaded us into finally climbing Whiteside Mountain.
About sixteen miles south of the campground in Georgia is the Foxfire Museum which is definitely something to see. An outdoor half-mile hike through the woods and over twenty re-located Appalachian cabins scattered along the trail. Many artifacts and hand-made tools and furniture dating back many years. On the way back north to the campground we stopped my Blue Hound BBQ and were not disappointed with their championship fare.
