We enjoyed our stay in a covered wagon! It was much roomier than anticipated. The pool was very clean, and the campground manager Crystal was super friendly.
The only issues were (1) the door to the Telluride wagon was very difficult to get closed all the way, and then very difficult to open back up after it was closed and (2) the check-in email told us we needed to bring bed linens for the wagon. So I dug out king and twin sheets from storage, washed them, and loaded my car down with sheets, pillows, and blankets. Turns out they do provide linens in the wagons. I let them know about those two issues, so hopefully they are resolved soon for future guests.

Just got home from a week stay. I cant say enough on how much we enjoyed the area. We stayed in one of the covered wagons and we were exptremly comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here andbif we ever get back up in the area we know just where we will be staying. I give them 10 stars.

As a first time visitor to Rose Creek, I was a bit skeptical and had low expectations, but WOW was I surprised and delighted by the venue. Very clean and well kept terrain with ample community space for gathering to cook a meal, enjoy the pool, or have a campfire. We stayed in one of the stagecoaches and loved the air conditioning, plentiful power outlets, and comfortable beds. The bathhouse was well-maintained and had great water pressure for a hot shower. The camp host was hospitable and quick to address any needs we had. A wonderful experience all around and I can't wait to return!

Great private campground. Sites are nice and well kept. Pool is always clean. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We’ve been going every year since we found it.

Have loved coming to this campground for years. Now it’s a hell hole. We are here now - to my right is a family of 5-6 with 2 dogs and a cat. Crap all over. Yelling / arguing all the time. Smoking weed. Music blaring at 1020pm. More yelling and arguing.
To my left - a broke down rv on blocks with 2 ladders leaning on it. Next to that - a travel trailer with a guy that’s been there long enough to accumulate trash and crap all over. And now the best - a homeless lady living in a tent that hangs out at the pavilion all day.
So sad to see this place turn into this. Former owners did all the right things. New owners don’t care. I emailed serval times while here. No response.
We won’t ever be back.
