This is a great place to camp with nice trails for hiking, biking and running, alongside a nice lake to paddle on and swim.

Nice campsites, lovely lake, fairly quiet even when busy, friendly camp. Took much trash esp at boat landing.

Fantastic campground with the best campground hosts that I've ever run across (Jason Champlain and family)! The lakeside campsite we reserved was beautiful and incredibly well maintained. Jason went above and beyond to make our camping experience the best that it could be; even taking me to the ER in town when I had a medical issue to deal with - please give him a raise and an award, along with our heartfelt thanks!

Always a great place to come and stay with family. We have been coming every summer for years, and it never disappoints us. The hosts were great and always checking in on us, and so kind to our daughter. Can't wait for next year.

I come every year and it’s just my favorite escape stateside.
There are some favored plots but honestly the vibe of the whole site is awesome with multiple access points to the lake with nearby trails and local wonders

The campground, the trails, and the beach are lovely. I enjoy swimming there and have swam hours there this past week. Unfortunately I have symptoms consistent with a contact dermatitis from microscopic organisms. From the CRC website : Swimmer’s itch, also called cercarial dermatitis, appears as a skin rash caused by an allergic reaction to certain microscopic parasites that infect some birds and mammals. These parasites are released from infected snails into fresh and salt water (such as lakes, ponds, and oceans).
The manager might post a sign. Rinse off and scrub your skin at the provided showers once out of the water and it should help. It’s not dangerous or contagious, just an itchy rash. I visited in June and had a little rash. A return trip of several days swimming caused a worse reaction. I look forward to cooler weather in deeper water. I will be back. Wonderful place.

The Host, Jason, and his family do a great job here. We have been camping at Jack Rabbit each summer for the past 8 years and love it. Highly recommend and bring your mountain bikes to enjoy the trails on the peninsula next door to the campsite!

The overall experience was great. Loved the biking and swimming. But the bath houses were run down. Water was either cool or scaulding. The campground host did nothing that I could see.

Good paddling to islands/life vest swimming in many areas/boat ramp is good if you don't get a waterfront spot. One caution: you cannot change camping spots to an open one without cancellation and re-reserving, etc., loss of some funds.
