Owners are understanding and fair. Just good people. Very quiet and peaceful here. In this area no place better. Doing and working very hard damage after storm. You won't be disappointed with your stay here. Have several private sites away from everyone. Nice sites to choose from. Owners very helpful. Stay once....your hooked. 😊

I stayed here for three months during the transition from my move from Tennessee. The hosts are a very lovely young couple. I was very pleased with the safety and tranquility of the park. Being a female staying there alone most of the time, safety was my main concern. I was very thankful to have this place as my home base in Hendo for a few months.

Enjoyed the rustic feel of this park, set back away from the road so it's quiet, under a canopy of trees in pretty fall colors, and yet only a few minutes to apple orchards and Hendersonville. Good wide space and a nice concrete patio. We enjoyed our five nights and will stay here again when we're in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. It was in the trees and pretty quiet. Great location. It looks like it was a great park, (70s, 80s) and possibly inactive for a period of time. Looks like a young man may be the new owner. No bathhouse and at the rates charge, doesn't make sense.
My pedestal had exposed wires, but it worked. So did the water and sewer. Our concrete pad looked ancient. I believe upgrades such as a bathhouse, new pedestals, defined roads are necessary to charge the current rates.
Great location, pretty quiet, and a friendly and helpful host makes us say, we would come back but hopefully, discover new upgrades.

We just finished an extended weekend stay at Blue Ridge Travel Park which was an absolute paradise for our family. We just entered the camping world this past year and found that this was the nicest campground we have stayed in thus far. We were greeted by the owner, led to our site, and he helped direct us in getting parked (everywhere else we have been has lacked such a personal touch). As we were getting everything set, the owner, Doug, asked if we required anything, we put in an order for some firewood and before we could even get unpacked it was already placed in camp. We loved the mature trees, excellent shade, quiet atmosphere, and the friendliness of everyone we interacted with.
The location was second to none as we traveled to the NC Apple Festival in Hendersonville, Justus Orchard, and Chimney Rock, all of which are a short drive away. The owners are wonderfully charming and always available should any need arise. Had I not known any better, I would have thought they ordered the PERFECT early fall weather for our stay. The temperatures were a blessed reprieve from the late summer heat that we have experienced as of late.
I am a bit confused as to some of the earlier negative reviews as we experienced nothing remotely similar to what others seemed to perceive. It is clear that the owners take great pride in assuring that every guest has a positive experience and I sincerely appreciate their diligence. I was intrigued that some complained about the rules which are clearly stated and intended that all have a safe and positive experience. All campers can book here with confidence, knowing that their time of vacation and repose will be exactly that. We will be back, no doubt many times in the future, and are grateful for a campground and experience as pleasant as the Blue Ridge Travel Park.
P.S. Also worthy of note, we had an excellent Verizon cell signal in the campground. On previous trips elsewhere, we have really struggled to get a decent signal which makes it difficult for checking in on work and family. This great connection at the campground was particularly helpful as we had one morning that required some virtual online work along with a very exciting birthday family chat in which to join :)
