DuPont Yurts & Campground

This was our second time staying in the Bridal Veil Yurt. We have enjoyed both of our visits. The Yurt has everything we need for a relaxing vacation and is close to several hiking trails and waterfalls. We will definitely stay again!

This was our second time staying at Yurts, and we're delighted and eager to continue using them for our glamping trips. Dupont Yurts is a perfect location, just five minutes from Dupont State Park, where you can find trails, waterfalls, and a river for a great weekend getaway. The yurt also has everything you need to cook and enjoy breakfast with the family before starting the day. It also has a fire pit to relax after a day of hiking. We loved the property and recommend it 100%. Booking the property is easy and everything is done online. You check in yourself upon arrival, which is great because it's usually late upon arrival, especially when you're traveling from far away.…

The DuPont Yurts are the best kept secret in the mountains of NC. My family and I greatly enjoyed our time there. The DuPont State Forest Triple Falls parking lot is just shy of two miles down the road. Easy hiking to Hooker Falls and a fun but challenging hike to High Falls and High Falls Covered Bridge. But one can easily drive to the High Falls Access and Welcome Center parking lot to take an easy hike to High Falls and High Falls Covered Bridge. The Yurt had all the amenities of home, such as cook wear, linens, towels, supplies, etc. The fire pit with coffee was a morning favorite for me. The host were super nice with quick replies to questions. I would highly recommend this place. They also have an RV campground adjacent to the Yurts. Even though we had our own super nice shower in the Yurt, the RV campground in walking distance has the best bathhouse I have ever seen at a campground! Wonderful place and will definitely consider a future stay!

This was our first time staying in a yurt and it was just fantastic! Our yurt was so cozy and had everything we needed for our weekend trip. Owners Sherry and Terry were so nice and friendly. DuPont State Park is just down the road, so hiking was really accessible. It was the perfect location for our Thanksgiving weekend. We will definitely be back!

Glamping at its finest! This is a perfect location, luxury camping "tent," and great hosts. With Dupont National Forest within minutes of the yurts, you have access to miles of trail, waterfalls, and endless adventures.

The town is only 15 minutes away for those last-minute groceries or dining out needs. There are also several quality wineries and apple orchards within 30 minutes from the yurts.

The yurts are set up like a hotel room, so you quickly forget you're actually camping.

The owners are responsive and great to work with. They make us feel like we're "friends and family" every time we interact with them.
