I am rating on the basis of staying in an RV lot, premium waterfront # 117. Thus, rooms and service doesn't really apply. We enjoyed our stay, but I noticed the grass was overgrown in various places. We lost water for several hours - some campers received advanced notice and some did not (us included). The only trash collection bin is a bit far from our site - there should have been more convenient drop locations. The pool, bathrooms, and showers were fine. See "Noteworthy Details" for further information. I did appreciate the ability to leave our trailer on our lot, and it did not cost us extra.

Our first time at the Inlet and we all had a great stay. We noticed its mostly a permanent resident but there is several spots for short stay. The spots are close to the boat dock where you can throw out a line to fish or to the store area with everything you need. The pool is huge and the kids loved it. The bathroom and showers are clean and safe. Its located close to the bridge to go across to surf city, topsail island for stores, restaurants and beach fun.

Overall we had a good experience. The location is great, and very convenient to the beach. The pool was nice and clean, and the pier is cool. Staff was mostly nice and helpful. For the Bad (ish) stuff….our campsite was most definitely NOT a “super site” that we paid for, and it was Very difficult to get in and out of unless you have the neighbors move all of their stuff first. Grass on our spot was long, and needed cut long before we arrived, pool gates were all jacked up so you had to enter and exit through the office/camp store. I would stay there again, but I would make sure to call ahead and check with them to make sure my camper fits on the spot. And ask them to mow/cut the grass and weeds. Don’t expect a luxury or bougie experience here, but it’s still a great location and enough amenities to give it another go. They could definitely use another maintenance guy or two because the climate is rough on the place and it shows.

This was our 4th time at the inlet. We have been full time RVers for 14 months now, and this has to be hands down our favorite place to visit, so much, that we plan to relocate to the area and to live at the inlet for a while. The staff is amazing, they are kind/caring/understanding/ and so much more. We invited some friends in from Tennessee who were also full time RVers and they too are absolutely in love with the facility. Thank you to the faculty and staff for yet again, another amazing experience. See you all this July!

Great Memorial Day Weekend with my husband and our two kids. Our site location was wonderful with the best view ever. Staff was very very nice and helpful and everyone staying there in general was nice and always waving. Our 10 year old son loved the arcade room and the pool as did we and our 14 year old daughter loved the cabana at the pool. We all also enjoyed the Sippin Shack truck that was there selling their wonderful coffee and lemonades and just cruzing around on the golf cart. The camp wide pig pickin was good as was the live band. It wasnt far at all from Surf City/Topsail Island which provides great shopping stores and restaurants and even more family friendly activities including the beach.
