This campground is fantastic. The setting is beautiful, the facilities are clean; and it’s not overcrowded or rowdy. Everyone was so welcoming. We will be back!

Went to check out this all inclusive campground. There are only 2 or 3 actual camper sites and a few tent sites. The rest is park models. Nice park models. The grounds are huge and very well taken care of. River runs threw it and there is a huge pond. Everyone I met that day was extremely nice and welcoming and helpful with all of my questions. I may have to wait until next season to camp up there but it is open year round and is only about 10 miles from Boone.

What a fun place to vacation with family! There is a gorgeous pool area, lots of social space and the cutest collection of tiny homes I have ever seen. These folks were hit hard by Helene, but the repair they have been able to do in just 6 months is nothing short of miraculous. The erosion from the flood has been mostly repaired and the river is back to tranquil and peaceful. I highly recommend a visit if you are looking for a LGBTQIA welcoming family spot.

Just an incredible gay friendly camping ground near Blowing Rock NC. Plenty of hiking opportunities around. The campground itself is as charming as you can imagine. You can lease a lot here on an annual basis. Some have small houses on their leased lots. Great pool, clean facilities tucked away in the NC mountains

Our experience was different than any other. We were originally staying for 3 weeks but 2 1/2 weeks in, the Great Flood of 2024 swept through the campground. Long story short, we stayed for 2 months and we were a part of their little village like we were permanent residents there for years.
I can't thank the owners, Nathan and Joseph enough for their compassion and generosity. The dedication and caring shows in how the community rallied together to open their hearts and come together to support them and help in any way they could. Big meals were made 3 times a day for the first few weeks in the Lodge with generators and everyone was welcome to eat. After long hours removing debris and recovering items and investigating damage, sitting together having some food and sitting by the fire; we really got to know some Amazing people at Starlite. Friends Forever now 🩷
As for the campground, Beautiful. Fantastic River, Big Lake. Huge pool. The dog park is great. Also there's some off-leash areas way out of the way. We Loved that for our dogs! We will definitely be back! Thanks, Starlite Fam for the unimaginable experience 🥰
