Oregon Inlet Campground is praised for its beautiful location and proximity to the beach, with clean facilities and friendly staff. Many visitors enjoyed the hot showers and overall cleanliness of the campground. However, some noted issues with small, closely spaced campsites, biting insects, and occasional flooding, particularly after heavy rain.

The beach at Oregon Inlet is fantastic! No drop off!! There were four or five turtle nests! Very few trucks or fisherman too! We had rain, yes the mosquitos were freirce! All but one of the campers behaved. They do need a very clear message that generators are off at 10pm.
That said, we were so thrilled by the beach and will come again for that for sure. We practically had it to ourselves in August.

Would be a 5⭐️ like usual, but the weather didn’t totally want to cooperate.

This camping is not made for tents. Wind blows strong in the dunes and there nothing to really block it. You are also setting up camp in the sand where stakes wont be solid. We saw a lot of broken tents during our 3 day stay. Although, the showers and bathrooms are super clean and the beach that is a 3 minute walk away is splendid.

The campground staff were super nice, and it was very clean. I wish we had known there was a number to call for the people who had their generator on all night.

Nice facilities. It was a longer walk to the beach than we would have liked but it was a nice weekend.

Highly recommend, it’s a very friendly campground. Very clean from the camp site to the shower house. Definitely do your research if you’ve never camped on the coast or sand.
