Oregon Inlet Campground is praised for its beautiful location and proximity to the beach, with clean facilities and friendly staff. Many visitors enjoyed the hot showers and overall cleanliness of the campground. However, some noted issues with small, closely spaced campsites, biting insects, and occasional flooding, particularly after heavy rain.

Great campground. Easy to back in and the beach is literally just over the dunes.

Love the campground, sites are fine and good to have electric. The down side was the dump station is not working/available leaving a 20+ minute drive to dump.

The visit was great. The reservation system is not a good system. The guest host has no ability to grant a reservation for an unoccupied site. Everyone must go through the Reservation.gov site and there is no internet service there.

Overall, the site and its facilities were fine. However, what really bothered and surprised me was the amount of plastic waste and cigarette butts everywhere. I had booked pitch no. 7, but it was raining so heavily when I arrived that the spot was flooded—it looked like a lake. At least 30 cigarette butts were floating in the water, and there were many bottle caps scattered across the surrounding grassy areas.
I then switched to pitch no. 2, but things weren't much better there; a large number of bottle caps had been trampled into the sand. It is sad that campers are so careless. In my opinion, though, someone really ought to go through and give the place a proper cleaning—using a rake, for example.
