Oregon Inlet Campground is praised for its beautiful location and proximity to the beach, with clean facilities and friendly staff. Many visitors enjoyed the hot showers and overall cleanliness of the campground. However, some noted issues with small, closely spaced campsites, biting insects, and occasional flooding, particularly after heavy rain.

Lovely open site with good shower and toilet facilities. Great ocean breeze kept us cool mid September with no need for air conditioner in our van with screens in the front door windows

After going to visit the Outer Banks, expecting to see glimpses of the ocean all the way along the road, all we saw were stacks of huge houses. Only when we camped at Oregon Inlet, did we see the beautiful sand beach and breakers coming in.So glad we stayed there, otherwise the trip would have been a bust! There is just too much development on the Outer Banks now!

Fantastic place to camp, from the noise of the ocean to the ease of access to the park, the ocean, even civilization if you need it. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Bath houses need improvement. It would be nice if some sites were made a little longer.
