What Guests Are Saying
Curtis Creek Campground offers a clean and well-maintained environment with friendly hosts and beautiful surroundings, including access to a lovely creek and hiking trails. Many campers appreciated the updates made after Hurricane Helene, such as new tent pads, fire pits, and improved facilities. While some sites may have limited access or odor issues from pit toilets, overall experiences are positive, and many visitors express a desire to return.

Nice size sites that were level. Campground was clean, quiet and has a trout stream. Couldn't ask for more!

Camped in our 17' TT. Campground appears to have been recently paved. Water at the campground. No water or electric at individual campsites. Wish we had more time to explore the area. Gravel road into campground from town. In good shape. Couple one lane bridges. We were small and had no problems. Pit toilets and no bath houses. $12 per night. Host on site. Would camp here again. Just be ready to listen to generators running. Quiet hours from 10pm to 6am.

Love this spot! Cheaper than most campgrounds in the area, camping along the creek, short hike to a couple waterfalls. Everyone was very friendly and bathroom area was maintained well. Nice to hear the rush of the creek as you fall asleep. Would come here again!

Clean bathrooms and sites well spaced. The extra bonus was the sound of the river nearby.

The sites were clearly marked and very tidy. The crushed pea gravel was a nice touch.
Spacing between each site is very generous. I met a few people who were underprepared and did not bring firewood nor a means to cut some from fallen limbs and trees. Be sure to brin* some wood or a bow saw to cut some from along the roadside. I’ll definitely come back!
