What Guests Are Saying
Curtis Creek Campground offers a clean and well-maintained environment with friendly hosts and beautiful surroundings, including access to a lovely creek and hiking trails. Many campers appreciated the updates made after Hurricane Helene, such as new tent pads, fire pits, and improved facilities. While some sites may have limited access or odor issues from pit toilets, overall experiences are positive, and many visitors express a desire to return.

I love this campground - it’s an easy drive from Asheville and it feels like a world away.
Clean toilets, easy access to each camp spot.
One of my favorite places to Get Away

Great campground right next to a creek, clean facilities, the camp ground host was great, hiking trails within walking distance. Had one of the best trips in going there! Will definitely be back!

The campground was beautiful! The creek was wide and cold and perfect for relaxing in after our ride down from the Mitchell Summit. The attendant was kind and kept the grounds very clean.
The trail systems surrounding the grounds are second to none. Some rolling and meandering. Others were just plain brutal as they were beautiful.
Overall an excellent experience.

It was a great central location to then visit both grandfather mountain and mount Mitchell plus a short trip to Asheville.
