Many reviews highlight the campground's cleanliness, helpful staff, and the peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxation and stargazing. Campground host in little evidence. Only one host present and only available during round. Restroom facilities were very
well maintained.

This is a great spot to camp at the beach, but unfortunately there were several folks running generators all day so it was really only quiet and fume free at night.

Incredible place. Dunes are 20' high. The beach is as good as it gets. Its like traveling back in time. Bring a pop-up screen tent for camp and pack the bug spray!

We had a wonderful stay at the Ocracoke Campground! The campground was clean and well-maintained, and the restrooms were always spotless during our visit. The beach is beautiful and just a short walk away. There’s also a grocery store, restaurants, and an ABC store only a few minutes away by car. Great location and a relaxing place to camp—we would definitely stay here again!

We were there for 2 weeks and we had a a lot of different weather. Just part of the experience in May.But I have to say it. It’s such a beautiful serene campground. We’ll go back again next year. It’s just such a way to get away from everything. The showers are cold, but you get used to them. The water in the ocean is cold, but you get used to it. We love Ocracoke.
