It is such a tranquil place next to the beach. Ocracoke is around 3 miles away where you can hire bikes and kayaks or sit and have a coffee and look across the harbour.

The Bathrooms were clean. One stall was "out of order" in one. The cold water showers are a bummer. Would be past excellent if warm water showers were available. Love the location and the cleanliness of the grounds.

Amazing little place to visit! Only bad part I found was the mosquitos! About the time dusk hits you'd best be prepared to stay in the tent or get carried away! Otherwise, it's a short (maybe 200yd) walk across the dunes to the beach! I was able to get out before the sun and mostly had about ¼ mile of beach all to myself! Saw dolphins for the first time as well which was amazing!

Great campsite! Clean, well maintained sites with washrooms and showers centrally located. Minimal shade and pesky mosquitoes.

Clean campground with generous sized sites. Beach was beautiful and quiet without many trucks. Close proximity to town with many shops and eateries. Careful with the mosquitoes after sunset.
