Many reviews highlight the campground's cleanliness, helpful staff, and the peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxation and stargazing. Beautiful grassy location next to the dunes and beach access. Bathrooms were clean and accessible. The whole family had a great time!

NO SHADE! Bring something to create shade, but not just a simple pop-up tent because that thing will FLY AWAY. Bring extra tent stakes... BIG, LONG ones- twice as many as you think you may need. That wind is no joke! Otherwise, site is fine. Regularly patrolled, which I appreciate. Bathrooms were always clean.

Love everything about the quiet little campground by the ocean. But can’t abide with the cold showers. There are so many great new solar options for hot showers. Please consider it. It would add so much!

Ocracoke is a great island. Beaches are very nice. Good restaurants. Campground needs power at sites. Water at site would be nice. At least have hot water in shower stalls.

Clean, quiet with easy beach access. Bring your bike, the village is only about 2.5 miles away.

THe campground was nice, There were alot of biting bugs and ticks were prevalent. Please consider hot showers in the future. That would be a welcome addition to the park.

Every thing we need for a great camping experience, although we do not need much in the way of amenities. We make our own power with solar. And if the showers are too cold, we heat a sun shower with 5 gallons and set in the sun. No need to change anything at the campground. But please make it easier for reservation holders to cancel so someone else can use the site. There were several empty sites, but the reservation system indicated no availability.

I know generators are allowed but the campsite beside me had one running all day everyday and it was very loud. I couldn't really enjoy my time at my campsite. Another night there were people partying until 1am not following the quiet time rule after 10pm.
