This campground was stunning! Neat, clean, quiet and tucked away a few miles from Saluda, NC. So much green grass and a couple of lakes! Heaven on Earth. This is a must see if you need a campground in this area. You won't be disappointed! We had site D-2.

We stayed in a basic cabin. We were surprised it had a microwave, mini fridge and table. It’s all squashed in but appreciated.

The people that run it are super sweet.

There are all kinds of activities for kids. If you have kids and they like to participate in group activities, definitely try this campground.

Bathrooms are old and need the windows open for more ventilation. However, they are decently clean for a campground with lots of people using it all day.

We stayed in our camper. Our kids ranging from 10-22 years old, loved it. They have a swimming area, fishing, boats for the lake and life jackets, badminton, basketball, golf, zip line, disc golf, ping pong, carpet ball and more. It's a great place for families. We thoroughly enjoyed it. 🩷

Some of the camper spots are a little tricky to get in and out of. My husband is an amazing driver and it took some time getting the camper out.

This is the absolute best campground in NC that is not a KOA campground and it has a lot to offer to the entire family. Our 6th year there for memorial Day weekend with a dog and family. My kids are now 14 and 12 and want me to book next year to make sure we come back to the same spot. We are 6 to 8 times a year tent campers. This camp is a Christian campsite. Very friendly and safe for our kids. They have activities for the entire family. You will never have time to get bored or to drive outside the camp to get anything. They even have a food truck every weekend. And bathrooms are impeccably clean. The best way to celebrate our veterans weekend to me is by living the freedom and feeling welcomed and safe to have a family vacation here. Thank you to the staff and the pastor and the beautiful families we meet every year. They have over 10 outdoor activities for the kids: zip line, climbing wall, swings, basketball, soccer, golf, fishing, swimming, kayak or canoe for free at the lake, gold, biking, hiking, etc. Food truck, bingo, Sunday service and a lot more we don't get to do because it is too much LOL. . It is impossible to get bored.
What I love the most is how safe this place is for my kids. I can cook and enjoy talking to my family while my kids are at the playroom with other kids or just playing something. No cellphones, no electronics needed, no worries.

We came to Saluda for a purpose and stayed at this campground because it was convenient for us. For the most part, it was quiet; however, we were the only ones there from a Monday until Thursday - except for permanent campers. There were two areas to this campground where it appeared to accommodate only full-timers, but sites P1 thru 108 appeared to be for short-term visitors as sites 109 thru 124 (which were in this same section of the campground) were mostly uninhabited during the day yet 'long-term junky'.

Sites are gravel and tight. A tree next to our site was so close, we could not extend our canopy but couldn't pull up farther because the hook ups were at the rear of the site. On Friday, the short-term section for campers (101 - 108) were full for the long weekend. The guests were pretty quiet. Our neighbors did have two dogs that barked at us every time we walked out of the camper, any time other visitors walked by, or when the wind blew. Their owners didn't manage them well.

There was a pretty alarming incident on Wednesday of our stay where the trash truck arrived at 6:30am to dump all five dumpsters. It has to be done - we understand that much. Just why so early? So loud.

It is what it is... it's a family campground for swimming in the lake, kayaking, hiking, and cooking out. It's not a resort. The price per night was very good. I believe we would have brought our children to this campground back in the day.
