This RV park is conveniently located right off the freeway, making it an excellent choice for an overnight stop or a stay of a couple of days. The park is surrounded by plenty of mature trees, giving it a peaceful and shaded atmosphere, and the grounds are clean and well maintained.
The main drawback is that many of the sites are not very level, which can make setup a bit challenging, especially for larger rigs. Be prepared to spend a little extra time leveling your RV.
Overall, it’s a clean, convenient, and comfortable RV park that’s perfect for a short stay, especially if you’re looking for easy access to the highway.

The campground is a great location for an overnight stop, as it is just off I-77. Sites are all paved and most are level. Check-in was simple. The lady at the front desk went over an extensive list of rules, highlighting with a marker as she went along, listing all of the “do nots”.
We proceeded to the site we had reserved. Someone was in our spot. We called the front office and they told us to wait while they figured out what was going on. We had been on the road for 7 hours and were ready to get settled. The site next to the one we reserved was open, so we asked if it was available for the night. She said yes we could park and stay there. Great. All is well.
A man then came up in a golf cart to investigate why we were in the spot we were in. He wanted to see our site map to show what site we were to be in. We explained we had reserved site 28, it had someone in it, had called the office and they said we could park on site 29. He then left to investigate. So communication between staff is lacking. He came back and said we could stay there.
We got settled and decided to go the office to purchase a bag of ice. We went into the laundry room behind the building and saw the door open to the front office. We proceeded through to the little store. Another woman who was seated at the front counter fussed at us for coming through that way in a tone which was totally rude. The man that had come around in the golf cart was also in there and said what do you need? In an unfriendly tone. We replied that we would like to purchase a bag of ice. They said they didn’t have any. So we left. They all seemed very unhappy.
We are pretty laid back people and don’t let things bother us. But the overall vibe this group was putting off was not warm and welcoming. Clearly there are some issues if they didn’t know at 5 pm that someone had not checked out of a site we were due to arrive in, they had no ice to sell, and they all seemed miserable. This is a veteran owned campground and we like to support veterans, as my husband is a retired Marine. It’s surprising they don’t offer a military discount. I did book online and pay online, and it wasn’t offered as an option.
Would we stay again- probably not unless there were no other options. Just our two cents.

A beautiful park, well maintained grounds and friendly staff was a welcoming experience after a long travel day! Sites were level, easy to get into, and fit our 45ft camper without issue. My sister and her husband stayed in a cabin while my husband and I stayed in our camper. The cabin was very clean and spacious. The bathhouse and laundry area were well maintained. The staff gave us excellent recommendations of places to eat and things to do in the area. It was a very relaxing stay. We will be back!

I stayed here back on the 4th of July last year and also about a week and a half ago and really enjoyed my stay. Easy in and out. Nice asphalt sites, also level. I had my two dogs with us so we utilized the dog park which is a decent size. Check in was easy, nice staff. Rules are simple, nothing too crazy. If you want an easy off and off the freeway this is the place. Well kept and safe
