This is a beautiful location. It is a quiet place for a mid-size gathering. There was a water pump but the electricity did not work. Be sure to make sure it works if you need it for an evening event. The are toilets but there is no running water in the primitive bathrooms, bring hand sanitizer!

Great shelter. It isn’t maintained at all tho. the site had mud all inside two guests fell while there. the bees! Please be cautious I had nine guests stung by bees there terrible! The water doesn’t work at all. The bathrooms by the shelter are probably the worst at the dam and I have been to all kinds of the shelters

It was really nice. We haven't been out there at this location, we were invited to a young Christian ladies 21st birthday.

Cons, no water is available. The water faucet is busted. The ladies pit toilet was filled to the brim, literally to the top. We had to use the men's. The shelter appeared to not have not been cleaned. Parking was a challenge.
Pros the location is beautiful, has a gorgeous view of the lake. The location offers shade, and has electrical service. The location has horseshoe pits for use. The grill was in great condition and easy to use.
