We had a wonderful time camping! The campsite was clean and quiet. The only thing that needs work is the shower building. The inside of the building has lots of bugs and spider webs. The sheet rock on the upper parts of the walls is flaking and falling off. Repairs and deep cleaning needs done. The balance of the campground is awesome!

With water levels so low weren't able to fish from shore or really no place to play in the water either. Otherwise cleaned facilities and grounds.

This is an on-going problem. First off, there is not enough water to safely launch a boat. It is very sad to see such a beautiful place void of the water that makes for a grand campground and fishing experience. Secondly, we have so many problems with the electrical hook-ups because they are only 30 amp service. We have asked the COE many times to have 50 amp service installed. That would eliminate the breakers from tripping and we would be able to run the air conditions in the extreme heat we are experiencing now. Cell phone service is horrible. We are hoping to get Wi-Fi installed in the park as the other Federal Parks are being serviced with Wi-Fi. That would have a huge impact on the campers as they could keep in touch with their families in case of emergencies and we could get weather updates as they become available.

While the river was low / no boat access, my site was amazing, views fantastic and was able to mountain bike 5 miles down the shoreline and back. Beautiful all around, peaceful, large sites and well maintained.

I'm not sure if Beaver Creek campsites are still actually open... My stay was in June 2022, and I didn't arrive until after dark but didn't see any other campers and google maps labelled it as "permenantly closed". There weren't any check-in instructions and I just drove up to campsite. It was really pretty spooky, just from being so empty, but a pretty spot!
