We had to learn how to camp off grid style. No cell phones and no local tv. We did bring cd’s to watch when it was too hot. The spot, #10, we we had sloped towards the road which the front of the camper needed to be lifted quite a bit to get level. We would stay again but at a more level spot. The area for dump and fresh water is not ideal, both on same side of road but campers are generally friendly and patient.

Nice campground - great location! We were on the loop with all pull-through sites - we needed the length to accommodate our long equipment. The sites were configured "backward" in many cases. You enter the loop from the high number and proceed with the campsite numbers descending. Many of the sites are set up to be lived "away" from the view and/or often just in the small grass median between the site and the road. We found that in order to properly enjoy a space, next time we will drive in going the "wrong way" to pull into our site and have our RV door open onto what we would consider the living side of the site - even if that means we have to run our electrical to the opposite side of our equipment. There are some FANTASTIC primitive sites here! You must check them out!

Low lake levels, only one usable lane, of three on the boat ramp. Asphalt roads could use some work! 30A electricity kept giving my surge protector high voltage, clearing immediately, but causing a two minute reset. This doesn't happen at home or other campgrounds. Camp Host very friendly, great view, despite the smoky haze.
