This is a beautiful campground right on the Missouri River. There were nice trails to view the river and plenty of open space for our dogs. As informed on the reservation website, water to the RV site was shared with the site next door. There was no one there, so we were able to have water all to ourselves. Sites were large and flat with some shade. We enjoyed our one night at Beaver Creek.

Camping and boating (fishing) are the only activities available. It is a nice park, but would be very nice to have the roads resurfaced, the pads updated to 50 amp service and WiFi available to the campers. Water activities are possible at this time, but if the COE keeps letting the water out beyond Lake Oahe, there will no longer be to use the boat ramps.

It's a nice place to camp. There are no activies other than water sports in the bay. There is some fishing, but at this time of year fishing is slow. The electrical hookups desperately need updating to 50 amp service! We had our breaker blow several times while running the air conditioning. Also, the roads are in bad shape all over the park. And because the park is situated in a "hole", there is no or very little phone service. WiFi throughout the park would make the stay much more pleasant.
